what is a radass? it’s a radical person who also is kickass. that sounds good. i’ll have that.

but a radass is something i don’t have right now, and maybe never will. i guess it’s not really a radass at all, but maybe a radintestine. doesn’t quite have the same ring to it, though.

a family that has ibs together, poops together. or something. my family is unique. therefore, i have hilarious stories as expected. it’s a plague and it’s a funny tale wrapped into one. succumb to the fear? not anymore.

i started a blog a few years ago to pop myself from a particular funk related to my self confidence, somewhat taking a beating from the ibs. it was only medicinal in knowing that i wasn’t hiding; but it wasn’t as if anyone was listening, either. i abandoned it the way i abandoned most things that brought on even the remote possibility of an ibs-inducing situation. quickly, in other words.

attempt number two comes four years later, when i still have a clean slate, loads to say and a captive audience. and by captive i mean at least one person. probably.

armed with more confidence and a true commitment to keep growing, learning, laughing and dreaming, i’m back. forever striving to push my envelope, incite riots and dance until my shoes fall off.
